This piece is made with stock pine and was originally designed to fit a small apartment living room. It was my first piece I built, using a handsaw and a drill with alot of sandpaper, and as such has a special place in my heart. It has a picnic table look, and I have since designed and built and entire living room set revolving around this table.
I love my house. My husband and I have lived here since Novemeber 2008, and it just feels like home. We repainted nearly every room and bought new furniture to suit our style. Almost every person who has ever lived above me in apartment buildings has: 1) Stomped around the house when walking would do just as easily. 2) Come and gone at all hours of day and night and slammed the doors every time in/out. 3) Yelled at friends/Talked loudly on the phone in the middle of the night while coming and going.
